Helen Hey
I am a trained editor and indexer with a decade of experience. After many years working on English Language Training textbooks at OUP Canada, I shifted to freelance work and haven’t looked back. I am experienced with textbooks, corporate and educational websites, tabletop RPGs, and academic projects. I am especially interested in working on more indexes, so please reach out if you have a project that needs one.
I love supporting clients so they can achieve the best version of their project. I strongly believe that collaboration and empathy are key components for a successful edit or index, which is demonstrated by my testimonials. I also love learning from and with my clients. My personal interests include literature, ecology, tabletop RPGs, geology, gardening, genre fiction, cooking, video games, history, and folklore.
